I'll be there getting my Ecutek retuned by Shiv for either a deadbolt td05 16g or vf22.

They do run a really nice shop. I ran into some issues the last time there and they let me use their tools to swap out some stuff. They even stayed past midnight to get me tuned.

I'll see everyone there as well, I'm on the list as MattW... I have an exede and the Vishnu TBE, Andrew tuned it for me.. I'm thinking about having a cat delete made, or maybe even going for the Green and some new injectors before then.. Rich - Andrew has told me about your car. I'm at 270whp, at only about 16psi, how is the car with that new turbo? Convince me!

i have nothing but positive things to say about my setup. pure unadulterated TORQUE everywhere and that's the pump map. Go race map,
sh**t, fricking uncivil. Any easy Sunday highway drive will very quickly bring you to the car's new top speed, if you let it Stage 1 is sick, stage 2 is a one way ticket to jail! But seriously, if you want to drive it first, I'll be up in GA a few days before the dyno day if you want to test it for yourself. You will not be disapointed.

Did you do the Perrin before the turbo upgrade or after? Is the cooling of the stock IC enough for the 365+whp of the stage 2; I'd hate to upgrade if it wasn't nec..

i upgraded after the turbo upgrade. I think for those levels of whp your going to need an IC upgrade and run catless.

When I talked to Shiv before I did stage 1, he mentioned that they do not recommend running sti catless even with stage 2, because of boost spike issues.... Ever since I've been a bit skeptical... Rich, have you had any issues with this?

They have a new exhaust, the one I have from Australia was getting too expensive to import... Stage 1, custom tune from Andrew at Dyno4mance, is running 270whp on the dynodynamics, so about 315whp dynojet.... You can check out my dyno chart here: http://www.sounddomain.com/memberpage/774419

The lowest HP curve is with just the exhaust, the middle line is with Shiv's sti stage 1 map, and the top is with Andrew's tune... and it's running very conservative at only 16psi.... nasty if you ask me!

IMO, vishnu exhaust products are very expensive... but sound AWESOME! The exede is awesome with the plug n play harness.... may have to wait a while for one tho (custom made in austr), if there isn't still ONE left in stock at vishnu....

hmmm....I still have my cat in at this point. I did have a test pipe made, but have not used it. You do bring up an interesting detail. With the current setup, only time I've had overboost has been on really cold nights. I observed an overboost condition of just over 1 psi. Just to be safe Shiv recommened I pull back the boost values a hair using Xmap.

rich - when you put together your fpgreen and injectors, did you order them through vishnu or buy them yourself?

Default Yo

That's what I figured due to the difference in dyno number results. I was just hoping someone had the corresponding whp & ft/lbs numbers.

I know he tried before, at a dyno day in Dallas I went to. Both guys that came in with UTEC's (both had '02 WRB WRX's) ended up leaving with ecutek reflashes

I would call Vishnu directly to ask this question...
