how to mount headlight w/ broken bracket

Tried searching but came up with nothing but zip tying...my passenger headlight has a broken mounting bracket. Specifically the plastic that the two bolts go through horizontally is completely gone and in 100 pieces. Will the light be secure if I use the top two mounts that are just those plastic clips going through the grille and the one top bolt? I thought about possibly drilling two holes through the remaining plastic and tightly zip tying it to the mounting holes in the frame, or even hacking a piece from my stock lights and JB welding it to the broken bracket. Can the bracket be repaired since the broken pieces are far too small to be put back together? Any insight would be appreciated.

With the mount gone the light won't be securely mounted and although you may get it in place it will not sit solidly in place and you'll probably see the beam move a bit when you hit bumps. I'd suggest you give up on trying to fix it and check the Private Classified forum for used lights FS, there are always a few sets in there and sometimes individual lights, for much less than the cost of new ones. You can also post a request in the Wanted forum.
