Question Cold air intake on STI

Hi,
I recently bought a Wrx Sti MY2004.The only modification i have made,is a cat-back exhaust.I'm thinking of fitting a cold air intake(Injen RS1201WR) and i would like your opinion. Is it going to work without fitting anything else?

Thanks

Save your money for EM first. I bought that intake (for $207, but too late for that price as where i got it the sale is over); but it isn't going on until my Hydra is in. I have concern about the AFR being too lean.

Junk, its just a little propeller looking thing that sits inside your intake.

the rough idling is a symptom of your car running lean, i also have an aem cai but my idle is ok...it depends on the car/user some cars are fine with the intakes and some go to hell with them...the problem is that your MAF sensor is incorrectly reading the air/fuel mixture ratios which is causing the lean condition...i think, if thats ur only mod at least, i dont know what else u got on there but thats my guess

Can you Tune a intake short/cold air to work just fine in a STi? So many companys sell them for our cars, it seems dumb if you can't.
