Default How hard to replace front axle boots?

Anyone ever done this? I have a small hole in one that is leaking grease and I'm wondering if this is something I can do myself relatively easily or whether I had better just take it to the dealer for repair?

It's not easy. I would call it a medium difficulty job for an experienced DIYer. Search this forum, this subject has been discussed before.

FYI, the dealer will almost certainly replace the whole axle with a remanufactured unit. It is not economical for them to spend time replacing the boot.
