Ugh, this is gunna be a pain in the ass. Why can't people follow directions? it was posted twice that I only ship to the US

ugh, i don't know, i don't want to have to research what i cna and can't do, see if i might get negative feedback, i don't wanna deal with this. if he gives me some more money for shipping maybe, but im only making like 3 bucks off this sale. Its NOT worth a hassle.

I think that him living in a different country is grounds for sale termination.

Dude, they don't even have mail sorters in some parts of the country, I doubt they have any sort of advanced mail system there. More like a cowboy running to from the postoffice.

It's grounds for termination. For future auctions, there's also a thing in bidder management tools where you can block bidding from outside your stated shipping area. You can file a UPI and get your final value fee waved.

A friend of mine who works for ebay told me this.

yeah, you can terminate it as long as you said you'd only ship to US.

if you said you'll ship anywhere but in the US for 5 then you might run into some trouble... but as long as you don't take his payment, i don't see why he should be a jerk about it.

Shipping, payment details and return policy
Shipping Cost Services Available Available to
US $5.00 US Postal Service First Class MailŪ United States Only

Will ship to United States.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Seller's payment instructions
I will ship anywhere in the US for $5 using USPS.

File a complaint. Get your point known to Ebay. You won't lose. Don't post here anymore.

Tell him you need more for shipping, look on the USPS website to find out how much shipping will be, it's easy. I sent some software to Oz last year (OMG illegal!) and just did this to get exact figures for shipping.

OH JESUS TAPDANCING CHRIST

this is by far the CHEAPEST mofo ive met.

I sold the game for 2.50 plus shipping which im not sure of. I said lets call it 10 flat shipped.

"I still feel I'd like to pay actual shipping costs. I went trough
shipping rates of USPS and here are rates for Economy (Surface) Letter
Post, which needs 4 - 6 Weeks. You just need to know how heavy is
the game.

From 0 Pound 0 unces to 0 Pound 16 unces: $4.95
From 1 Pound 0 unces to 1 Pound 4 unces: $5.70
From 1 Pound 5 unces to 1 Pound 8 unces: $6.50
From 1 Pound 9 unces to 1 Pound 12 unces: $7.30
From 1 Pound 12 unces to 2 Pound 0 unces: $8.10
"

so he is now arguing around 7.50-8.50. jesus, he better live in the slums to be arguing 'bout twofiddy

he is sending cash so meh, 10 would be better than a bunch of change.

I think it would have been cheaper to just give it away to your neighbor or throw it away in the trash.

The irony of this post, of course, is that if you had taken his $5 & shipped for $7.50, you would only be out twofiddy.

I hate this crap, I've had the same problem before. It's not that I hate foreign people or some rediculous crap like that, it's that int'l shipping is a PAIN IN THE ASS. Always. Plus, if you accurately describe what's in the package, it'll probably never make it through customs, so in a way, you're going to have to basically lie to customs for the guy anyway (depending on customs laws in whatever country it is, of course). Such a pain... I need to learn to check that "only accept US bidders" button
