Maybe he was spining in the snow and that is what the speedo said? Besides, if I read it correctly, it said 80mph!!! Only a dumb arse would do that on purpose if he got it up to 80 in that snow. No way to slow down for anything if need be. Cool pics though.

Yes, that is 80. Scary but cool, especially with an ex-rally driver behind the wheel.

Tires are Conti ExtremeContacts.

Just get our there and experiment...

Try to be on the gas alot through the corner, if you aren't then your car will understeer on you. With that being said, dont WOT cause you will spin the tires and you won't go anywhere. Before the corner, gas it to get the car rotated, opposite lock, and just use the gas to control the car. Remember slow in, fast out.

As for the area, you can try in your neighborhood, but not for a while and BE CAREFUL. It would be best to find some kind of abondened lot, or somewhere where not many people go to like some industrial park.

Dont read into the speedo too much for accurate speed in those conditions. I've gone 80mph without moving before! Oh yeah but that was in the rain with a RWD camaro (tires were spinning faster than car was moving).

Nice pics by the way, I miss the snow

I've said it many many times before. I wish we had snow like that here. That makes me want to move north for the summer, just so I can get some AWD drifting action in.

Drifting in a neighborhood?!?! Im only 17 years old and that sounds stupid dumb, even if your a professional, especially if your a professional!

I can see open parking lots or industrial parks where no one is.

Not when people are around...usually at night is the best time. Common sense...but maybe I should have said that before.

I just don't see the point in parking lot drifting. IMO, you need a road with some turns.

Oh BTW, is anyone having troubles downloading the videos?? Usually Windows Media player has trouble with .ASF files. Go to http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=816044 to get the .ASF file converter.
