UTEC compatibility

hi

I have an 2004 WRX(impreza) STi Aus Spec 2.0 ltr

if i bought a utec that has been used for a USDM WRX STi, would it work on my aus spec model ?

What model utec should i be after if it does?

The USA STi UTEC does not fit an Australian STi as they use different ECUs. The USA WRX UTEC will physically fit but will give you a CEL as it is not 100% compatible with the Australian STi. You will need the AUS MY03/STi UTEC.
