Hey I was just wondering about vishnu tuning. The guy i bought my wrx from said its awesome. is it better than cobb? Also is it ok to go with other parts besides like cobb or vishnu cause i know there are some other great brands out there.

Do a search for 'vishnu' or 'cobb' and you'll find lots of posts. Also check the Engine Management forums. The choice of EM really depends on what you're looking for. As for parts. . .if you go Vishnu, then you can pretty much pick and choose. If you go Cobb, you have to get the parts that the maps specify unless you're willing to drive to Cobb to get custom tuned.

fwiw, i am awaiting a vishnu xede for my sti.
i am most likely going to be selling my ap if the xede works out to my liking
i'll post my review once i get it.
