Default FS: Custom made straight-pipe catback exhaust system. PRICE REDUCED

PRICE REDUCED
$225 CAD OBO

it's basically a straight pipe welded to a big muffler, donno what's the name brand of the mid pipe or the muffler...
the exhuast will be off the car tomorrow and i'll get the diameter of the mid pipe and muffler measure plus a few more pictures of the exhuast itself.

the condition is better than wut i thought it is!!!

as u can see in the picture there's very little rust except the hangers...
the mid pipe is in very good condition while there's some minor scratches on the muffler (i think it's made out of SS or something...very strong)

sound wise...i have sound clips in my crappy MP3 player but i lost the cable...might take me awhile to find it...

it sounds similar to the Apexi N1 i'm using, except it's a little bit louder and higher pitch...

performance wise it gives similar gain as the apexi N1
(i tested it by timing my 0-100km/h time)

pm me or post here if u have any more questions~

dude no offence for my opinion i dnt dig the catback...you could have use stainless pipe on that one rather than steel pipe its customize anyways..or u could use a lil paint for that pipe to look presentable and maybe it's a lil bit high for the price ur asking

um...the exhaust is a done by the previous owner of the car...i would have use SS all the way since it's more durable...but as i said, the catback is in good condition...

and i don't really think too many ppl will crawl down the car just to see how pretty the mid-pipe is...but that's just me...

as for the price, a friend of mine had sold a similar custom made catback a while back for $250, so i don't see how my is over priced...

nonetheless, i do appreciate ur suggestions and i'll probably give the catback a wash or something to make it better looking during the weekends...

Hmmm 1/4" thick steel pipe? That's sweet.. But is it heavy?

Sorry I've got a thing for typos and hijacking threads..

OMGHi2U

hey, dude
I'll remeasure your pipe this weekend for sure
1/4" sounds like the width of flange
WRX stock pipe is 6.75" circumference, so OD would be around 2.15".
and pipe wall thickness is like 1/16"-1/8"

1/4" thick mid-pipe is way more than the weight training

haha...sure...
i need a better ruler anyways...

haha, it's a SS muffler + 1/4" thick mid-pipe btw~
5Z was holding it like it's just a stick or something, so i guess it's not that heavy (or he's just too strong)

we should most definitely give it a wash, take better measurements, and take better pics w/ ur "high hand" camera~ *ya know wut i mean~ *

thx for the support chris~

judging from the amount of interests on the muffler now i don't think i'll be able to sell it in quite a while...

sell your coupe wing to me~!!! lol
go buy those RB5, Version 5 spoilers~
coupe should have bigger wings while sedan should have the small subtle coupe wing~
