Default Putting H7's inside a 9007 Lowbeam

Does anyone know if its possible to do this? How about retrofitting 9006 bulbs? I'm trying to fit some Ion Plasmas from PIAA into my high and low beam.

No, it won't work. You will get light but the pattern will be all wrong. Since the bulbs are totally different physically the filament alignment in the housing will never be correct. Why are you trying to do this?

I don't think PIAA makes the Ion Crystals in a 9007 size. I've seen H3, H7 and 9006 bulbs so far.

That's because the 9007 is a dual-filament bulb, the other bulbs you listed are single-filament. I don't think those are made in any dual-filament types. Sorry to say but any "experiment" you might decide to perform on the stock headlights will likely not go well.

Interesting. Do you know of any bookmarks to further reading on the differences in bulbs? Thanks for the insight Mulder, I don't think I will be messing with my headlights.

Not sure you'll find exactly what you want here, but an excellent resource for lighting information and products-
