Default Cobb AP and CEL

I just installed a Cobb AP and have the Stage 2 93 Map as my base and real time. As soon as I flashed and turned the car on, I get a CEL. I run the code with the AP and it comes up P0102. I just looked up the code on this site and it says "P0102 Mass air flow sensor circuit low input "

What does this mean and will it cause any engine damage if I run the car while it has the code? BTW, I tried clering it, but it wouldn't go away. Also, the car doesn't seem to be running any differentl. Other than the smoothness and more power, all seems well. The CEL doesn't seem to be hampering me in any way.

PS
This is the 2nd AP I've had in my car. I had one for about a year and I sold it because I was goingto part out. I never did, so I bought another one. If I remember correctly, I was getting the same code back then.

Thank you,
Joe

You didn't list your mods, do you perhaps have an aftermarket intake? I'd say check all your intake tubing, ic hoses, etc. and maybe clean your MAF sensor. Cobb advises against using any aftermarket intake with their stg2 map.

Sorry about not listing the mods. They are Turbox XS UP/DP, Tanabe Hypermedallion catback. I had an Injen CAI when I had the first AP. I took it out when I sold the original AP. When I unmarried the 1st AP, my CEL went away. Yesterday I reflash my ECU and immediately I get this P0102 code. Yet the car seems to be running very strong. It's not stuttering, stalling, or anything.

I'm puzzled.

PS
What do you use to clean the MAF?

You can always call Cobb if you think the CEL is directly related to installing the AP.

As for cleaning the MAF:

In addition to the link above about cleaning....if you go the spray cleaner route make sure it is "safe for sensors" and says so on the can. Some of the cheaper brands are not snesor freindly and are mostly designed for cleaning carbs and throttle bodies. Make sure you get a good brand name and it says it's safe for sensors.

Put an AP on your car and you get a CEL... take it off and it goes away... Put another AP on and it comes back... humm

Why are you blaming the sensor? You think the AP code is any better at detecting a malfunctioning sensor then the OEM code is? Whatever your sensor is reporting seems to be out of range for what the AP code is expecting, so it's throwing a CEL.
