Arrow Finally getting ready to gauge up...

02 WRX, UTEC, TXS turboback exhaust...

I'm getting a Greddy Wideband O2 gauge kit. From what I've ready, I'm planning to weld a bung to my downpipe about 12 inches off the turbo for this sensor. Good?

I've also got an EGT gauge waiting to go in, though I need to get a sender for it. Was going to mount THIS guy to the exhaust manifold. Smart? Stupid?

I know EGT + Wideband O2 are *somewhat* redundant, but I'm hoping the combination of info can keep me running safe

kthanx for any info!

EGT + WB02 is not redundant IMO. Each monitor different things.
Didn't know greddy made a WB02..
I have my wbo2 in stock rear. Phil says it's good.

You say "stock rear..." do you mean the sensor in the midpipe after the cat?

That seems sort of far away...

I would think an O2 sensor's readings would be fouled up by a cat, which is why I'm a bit hesitant to tap it into my downpipe (I still have the catted uppipe for now)
