Default problem help..

hey.. guys.. I was on my way home from work.. (cruising) and a Eclipse GST passes by me with damn f****** loud BOV.. anyway I chased after him.. (I was on fifth gear and down shifted to fourth and caught up to him.. as soon as I got to him i shifted to fifth and suddenly I smell my clutch burning and my RPM just shoots up.. so I slow down and shifted again and it was ok..
I just recently got stage 1 SPEC clutch and Fidanza lighten flywheel.. can someone tell me what could cause this problem.. it didn't do it afterward.. I did it so many times but it doesn't do it anymore.. could it be the new clutch.. or lighten flywheel?? let me know.. please.. thanks

Is that the Spec clutch that is Kevlar? If so it's the clutch. Once it cools down everything 'll be cool.

what do you mean?? well the clutch is organic disk.. well I really don't know.. what happened.. I try to make it slip but don't do it anymore.. the clutch is new.. could it be the reason.. maybe break in period?? let me know.. thanks..

Organic = Kevlar Same thing. It probably wasn't broken in enough or adjusted quite right. Take it easy for a few weeks (500 miles) and then you'll probably be good.
