Default Why wait for the AP for '05 WRX?

Any reason why I should wait for the '05 model of the Accessport to be released rather than get the '04-'05 model that Cobb sells now? I have an '05 WRX sedan, manual transmission. I know that the current AP model does not flash back to an '05 map if you uninstall it, but uses an '04 map instead.

Is there any functional difference between the 2 different year maps?

Apparently there will be a downloadable upgrade for the current '04-'05 WRX AP that will put an '05 map back on your ECU when you unmarry it. This should take care of VIN number matchup, etc. Any other differences between the '04-'05 AP and the (coming soon?) '05 AP?

I have an 05 WRX wagon with the AP. As far as I know the 05 AP release is software. The actual hardware is the same IIRC.
