Default Reupholstering Seats

Has anyone recovered their seats?
I want to upgrade our TS seats but don't want black seats in a grey interior so I have gotten estimates to add heat and some stiffer foam to the existing seats. Its $250 a seat just for the heat plus any other work to be done. For $400 - $500 it looks like I could get WRX seats with heat but then I would need to recover them in grey.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

My WRX's driver seat's holster is kind of broken now because my pants scratched it last summer. I have stopped wearing that pants as soon as I realize that it is breaking my seats..
May I ask where did you get the quote of $250 from? I don't need the heaters though cuz it comes with it.

thx.

I doubt most people would reupholster their seat as used seats are fairly easy to come buy and quite cheap (cheaper than redoing your own seats). Besides, the L seats are so lame anyways, you may as well get something a little better. I've had a number of black seats in my Legacy (which has a lighter grey interior) and it looks fine IMO. I much prefer a black seat actually.

I've a nice pair of seats for sale. It's off a 2003 Impreza, mint condition.
Buy my pair of front seats and enjoy it ! way cheaper than fixing/covering your own TS seats. I believe it will bolt right on too !

1) No
2) Yes, but my mom and grandma sat on it too!
3) Yes, smell more like winky's ass !
4) Yes, my fart smell like winky though!
5) same price as Fuka sold it to me (let me check!)

I thought I got a chance to install these into winky's P5 before, but she sold her P5 shortly after I bought these off fuka. So, it's sitting in my basement alongside with lots of other parts that I acquired. Mint condition.

is it possible to take a stock sti seat and add more support on the sides so that it could hold u in place better while still maintaining the stock look?

or perhaps change all the blue in the interior ro another color?

Ask Fukamojo,
IIRC This civic guy that has some affiliation with Velocity, has a nice custom interior. Red/white theme, red/black woven cf hood, looked killer on the eyes.
Never thought id say that about a civ!

There's another real custom seats centre on Victoria drive, I believe it's called "seat cover centre" or soemthing.... but it's like a block down from Hastings and Victoria. They are the real professional guys ! But the price is gonna scare you away
