Seems my original post was deleated, anyhow below is the link to my autotrader advert which has a full description as well as numerous pictures - best way to contact me is through the advert - http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...sp=y&cardist=0
In short its a 2005 STi in silver with under 4500 miles, immaculate inside and out, never in an accident, fully optioned, i.e. short throw shifter, security pack ect. and has an eclipse AVN 2454 touch screen navigation unit and DVD player as well as Rockford 12in sub and amp. I am selling the car due to finances at the moment, it really is like new but at used a used car price. Asking $31,499 obo as is or $29,999 obo without Nav, sub and amp (in which case the origional 6 disc in dash changer will be put back in its place).
Thanks,
MarK.

170 Views and no buyers - I really need to sell the car, can anyone reccomend anywhere else to advertise the car, I have it here, on clubwrx.net and autotrader. Do u guys think my price is right as I know the car wont sell if its too high or is it just that people really arnt buying STi's at the moment, as I really think the price is great and it is obo so there is still some discount too be had?
Thanks again,
MarK.

Let it go with the navi and system for 29k? That alone cost $3000 I would have thought the car without my navi and system would fetch about 29k but I appreciate your advice, you may well be right but I really think its worth more, I really would'nt let it got as is for 29k considering it cost me $38k only 3 months ago - I appreciate you loose a lot of money on new cars but not nearly $10,000 within 3 months of a sub 40,000 car Any more advice is more than welcome. Also 04's with 10k+ miles are going for about 27k, so just with that as a basis 05's have too be worth at least a couple thousand more considering its a year newer, has a lot of upgrades over the 04 and has a lot less miles, dont you think?

have you looked at ebay? That seems to be a good place to get an idea of how much the car would go for right about now. There are a few 2005's on there now.

I looked there, but most dont seem to hit the reserve but I'll keep a look out. There is one there that is new and is at 26.5k not but hasnt hit the reserve, the buy it now price is 30,999 and I think the reserve will be somewhere near here but u have too keep in mind because its a new vehicle froma dealer you will have to pay tax and license which will be around 3000 more so it'll actually cost the buyer closer to $34,000. I considered advertising on ebay but it seems most who look to buy on ebay are looking for a bargain rather than paying what the cars worth and no one is going to sell their car for less than its worth so the cars often dont sell even though there are so many bids.

Will you do $28.5k without the system? Because I am kind of in the market for a used 05 blue/gold.

I know its all down to personal preference but the platinum silver with silver wheels really looks clean and suits the car so well, u have too see it it person. In regards to price I have the car advertised without the system for 29,999 which I really feel is a more than a fair price. I got the car only 3 months ago and it cost me just over $35,000 OTD without the system, however if you really are serious about it PM me or contact me via the autotrader advert and you can view and test drive the car yourself and we can discuss the price further then and I am sure we can work something out.
Regards,
MarK.

Just as an FYI...you have to pay sales tax when you buy used private party just like you do when you buy it from a dealer Only thing you save is maybe the $500 processing "dealer" fee.

Its an Eclipse AVN 2454. If you look at my autotrader advert there is a pic of it installed there. For more info on it go to www.eclipse-web.com and look for AVN 2454. Its a great unit, amazing navi and plays DVD movies, CD, MP3, and radio. Has 2 slots behind the screen so u can use navi and have a CD in. I am asking $1600 for it plus $50 for shipping, it cost me $2300 new 3 months ago. I also have the remainder of 1yr warranty so its problem free, PM me if your interested.
