Default Luminics Ultra White bulbs

Has anyone tried out these bulbs?
They are available at subaruwrxparts.com for $15 and come with
a one year warranty.
I want to know if they throw more light than Sylvania Silverstar or
Philips Hi-Vision

Most likely not. Do the bulbs have blue-coating on them? If so, then definitely not. I would go with the Osram Silverstars (not Sylvania) or as you mentioned above, the Philips Hi-Vision ones. You can get the Osrams from danielsternlighting.com

No, Osram is the parent company of Sylvania but the Silverstars you can buy in stores in the US are the blue-coated "superwhite" Sylvanias. The true Osram Silverstars are only available from direct vendors who import them.

Looking at the site, they have a blue coating (a particularly dark one, for that matter) - so they will look blue-er, but not be brighter. If you look at one of the other recent threads, the 9007 +30 bulb which Daniel Stern sells (wagner bright-light) is evidently available at NAPA and other similar places for $11 a crack... might be worth a try (only yields a 10% increase in output over the 9007 spec, though)
