Default UTEC Questions

Can someone Plz explain to me the deal w/ the Utec, some people tell me that theirs will work on 02-05 some say No its just a 02-03 Utec some tell me Well myne will only work on 04-05 STI and their are all these revisions to worry about.. Basically Im buying myself a Utec for my 02 Swap and my friend a Utec for his 04 WRX because he dosent have a Nasioc Account.. So Some plz Help me out here.. thx...

its based on the hardware revision...

I know for sure that rev 4 will only work on 02-03... 04 will need revision 6
I dunno about revision 5

theres also a revision that will only work on an 02...

Almost right.

Rev 4 = 2002
Rev 5 = 2002-2003
Rev 6 = 2002-2005
