Default Top-Mount Oil Cooler?

anyone ever tried? i mean in the stock location for the intercooler...

when you do a FMIC mod, is there enough space left under the hoodscoop for an oil cooler? not sure how much room that IC piping takes.

It's a good idea but I don't know if it would make the oil pump work harder being up THAT high. Generally you would want the oil cooler to be at least the same level or slightly higher than the oil pan.

I was considering that as well. I got the cheaper oil cooler.. flexlite I think, and was going to attach it to my strut tower brace. I have the freedom designs STB that used to go right over top of the TMIC so it has big oval perfs in the top to let air through and plenty of clearance for the TXS FMIC.

Edit out a brainfart here...

My only problem is the plumbing and having to run it so close to the exhaust manifolds.
