Agency Power FTW. I don't think you'll see any gain in mileage though.

Underdriven pulleys aren't worth it.

Underdriven pulleys affects the drainage of accessories, such as ac, audio, etc. Lightweight pulleys do not, I personally have a Perrin Pulley that I have not installed just yet.

an underdrive pulley is going to affect your audio for one. Go with the lightweight pulley, it doesn't mess with the electrical system or anything else that runs off the crank (i.e. everything). It just reduces rotating mass, hence, slightly quicker throttle response.

my gfb 3 pulley underdrive kit comes with a smaller alt pulley to speed it back up so it still charges the same plus i dont notice any change in a/c or powersteering.

your using less power to turn it, les power wasted means more to other things,it wont make a huge difference but it will save a bit...

MAke sure you get the cheapest one so that it won't be balanced as well as the stock pulley.

I'd say it's more than worth the money but I guess that question is pretty subjective (I have the Perrin). Right after install I noticed a bit more power most notably when in overdrive and giving it some gas since the speed goes up much faster without having to downshift.

Hi guys changing my stock wrx pulley to a lightweight one. So if under-drive pulley will affect the electrical what are the effects of a over-drive pulley? Anyone running on cobb's pulley? Any ill-effects on the belts when running light weight pulley?
