Question 05 sti utec

So if i purchase a utec for my stock sti with the optional switch and just want to plug it in and go am i going to see any power increase? I dont have a laptop and am not really interested in doing any tuning, i just would like a little more power and may possibly do more upgrades like zorst later.

Default ..

the basemaps are obviously better than stock, and should come loaded in the utec...

u dont need a laptop if u arent tuning urself, but its certainly a good idea...as u can capture/monitor... (aka log) information...

you could always use the 9v battery and take ur utec inside and plug it into your desktop pc....

once u start modding u will get the urge to tinker.......

many people are willing to send u maps....

Hi there...

You bet that you will see an increase. The Turbo XS UTEC on an otherwise stock STI is worth about 30 WHP when running a base map. We are able to preload the STI UTEC with whatever map you need.

The device will work equally as well for the individual who is going to plug in and tune it every day, as it will for the person who sets it and forgets it.

There is more UTEC info here in a FAQ we created.. www.worldoneperformance.com/turboxs

We are also running a big sale on the STI UTECs right now, and we have them in stock and ready to go. Send an email to info@worldoneperformance.com if you have any questions and we will give you a price that can not be matched.

:-)
