Is it just the turbo that has this characteristic? everything else i could find said the engines were the same....
two LGT stock dyno graphs http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...ght=dyno+chart a d.d. dyno read an ecutek relashed lgt at about 208hp and 215 tq here http://legacygt.com/forums/attachmen...achmentid=3101 and 202hp 231ftlbs http://legacygt.com/forums/attachmen...achmentid=1083 211hp 250ftlbs with stage 1 cobb ecu flash 14.7psi.... http://legacygt.com/forums/attachmen...achmentid=3748 and official cobb results stage 1 285hp 305ftlbs totally stock lgt 14.5psi MOST of torque by 3k stage 2 300hp 345ftlbs 3 inch dp and 2.5 inch mufflers (2 of them) 16.3 psi and max torque at 3200rpms! I like that! http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6872 To be honest, I kind of like those last 2.... that would be a very useable engine for autox.... i wish i could shut my brain down sometimes... Matt

You can get massive midrange on a Sti using the same methods of tuning.
Also the stage 1 map is intentionaly detuned on the AP. Don't know why, but it is. |

It is really helpful to look at the boost curve at the same time.
I think you will find the VF-40 just runs out - it is really tiny. Today the biggest drop in turbo is Deadbolts 18G which is still pretty small. If you want a real turbo today you have to change a lot of plumbing . |
