Post Quick. Best way to get shoe polish off.

I have:
Armor All car wash
Simple Green

I think I have Goo Gone
Windex
And a couple other things that I realy dont feel like using on my paint.
I now hate shoe polish and I will have letters and numbers made.
Thanks for your help!

One of those plastic mesh scrubby deals (for dishes, like steel wool but plastic) make quick work of removing shoe polish.

Shaving cream is the best way to get shoe polish off of shoes and boots, I am in the military, trust me, it will work in a jiffy.

I always just used windex for the shoe polish numbers... if it got on your car any car wash stuff should work.

Use some windex and a razor blade to take it off. If it really wont come off use Goof Off, this will take anything off.

At the auto-x it started to rain right as I was puting my numbers on the window and it ran. Then the guy that looked at my car put on even more while it was still raining.
I ended up just scraping it off of the paint with my finger nail.

Go to Autozone and pick up some Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover. That stuff takes off anything and wont hurt your paint. I have gotten tree sap off my car with it before, and you know that **** is hard to get off.

V is for Victory, Hippie!

Wink

Lighter fluid works just as well as bug-gone. Much cheaper too!
