Default Sell modded car complete or part out?

Well the time is slowly arriving where I need a more sensible car :-( The question is do I try to sell it complete or part it out and refit original parts or even trade in?

The parts?
2002 WRX 30,000 miles,
DMS 50mm Giant rally-length coil-overs
STi tops
anti-roll bar
OZ P1 18x7.5 wheels
Michellin Pilot Sport 2 (PS2) 225/18 tires
Ally skid plates
Helix down-pipe
Vishnu up-pipe/pulley
Cobb AccessPORT (stage 2 map in use),
Blitz iSBC (just being used as fancy boost gauge since AccessPORT fitted)
EGT gauge in pod with SBC
Cosco child seat (kidding!)

Any points of view, experiences etc. would be interesting to hear!

I'd say part it out and get the puppy back to stock. You will have a far larger market base with it stock than if its modded.

Most people want to do their own mods and unless you are very lucky to find someone who wants your mods......get it back to stock.

You should be able to recoup some of your investment by selling the upgrades.

Good luck.....just my .02.

see if you can sell it together. And then if it doesnt sell try selling the car first then sell the parts after. I think the big thing would be to sell the car and worry about parts after you actually sell the car who knows maybe someone will want the whole deal.

part it out

modded don't sell well
and if they do sell, you'l make less than parting it out

Yes. Part it out. You have to be able to get a clean smog to sell it.

Black to reality.

what's a more sensible car than a WRX???

why not keep the car but sell the mods and just drive it stock.

you have a good safe car with awd...the only thing more sensible would be if you got the wagon.

if you have to sell it then part it out as much as you can to get back some cash and you can put that towards your "more sensible" car.
