Default ground wire problem

this is the problem i am having on my 03 wrx the ground wire broke and i have no clue where it's supposed to go. the location of the wire is on the top left side of the pitch mount on the firewall, Is that the starter ground wire and if it is any one have pics where i have to mounted at???

i am pissed off because when we droped the tranny out it must have caught
on sth.

The starter doesn't have a ground wire, it is grounded by being bolted to the engine. If you are referring to the small wire under the intercooler, it attaches to the firewall. You should see the bolt with the ring terminal underneath where it broke off.

yeah small wire which bolt on the engine though i was looking but i couldn't find it yeah broke off what is the purpose of it?

actually yeah i know that is on the firewall but where does it end the other end that's what i am confused where it's going. from the firewall where..
