We sourced out a ecu out of junkyard, but the donor car has 45,000 miles more on the odometer. Am I right in thinking that his milage will stay the same? He is saying if you change the ecu the milage will match the replacement unit.

Deleted your double post.
The mileage is stored in the odometer and should remain the same after the ECU is replaced. |
