Question need help finding best place to tap in for guages

i just got some autometer gauges and was wondering if anyone new how to install them. im not looking for someone to install them im just looking for some advice. i was wondering which hose everyone was taping into for a mechanical boost gauge, a separate vac gauge, a mechanical oil press gauge, also what people did with their air/fuel gauge. ive heard i need to get the special o2 sensor to put in my exhaust but were does it go. if you have any of these gauges in your wrx please help me out and tell me where you have your hoses running into. cause my installer and i are looking for the best location to T into and such. if you have any pics as well that would be even better.

Matt

Here's some help, but even the slightest of searches here or on scoobymods.com would probably give you about 99,000 results. Our search feature here is free, I'd recommend checking it out. That and posting in the right forum.

Check http://www.wrxtra.com/ for their oil pressure sending unit install kit. I had one custome made and then ordered that part as backup in case mine pops.

If you got an oil gauge with a line that runs oil inside your car to the gauge, do yourself a favor and return it and get one with an electric sending unit. You don't want that oil inside the car with you. It'll leak someday and that'll suck.

For the O2, just tap the blue wire coming off the rear O2 sensor. That gauge is almost totally functionless, but I kept it as backup to know when and if my real wideband is flaking out.

Cut the line to your recirc valve and tap the boost gauge there. It's easiest and it's where subaru does it.
