Default Got pics of 04/05 STI HID beam pattern?

since people always say that HID kits aren't good, i'd like to see a side by side comparison of an 04/05 STI's beam pattern with that of an 04/05 WRX with a HID kit.

Post some pics people!!

I cant say that this is an accurate description of what people are saying without clarification. I believe what people are saying is that HID kits are not good when used in reflector OEM headlamps not intended for HID's because they scatter the light and cannot be properly aimed.

I had EDM projectors with an H1-based HID kit in my WRX and now I have the STI with it's D2R HID's. The beam pattern on the WRX was, to put it nicely, chunky. On the STI, it is almost perfectly smooth with just a tiny brightness peak in the middle where the beams cross, on the ground about 20 feet in front of you.

I suspected that's what you meant but sometimes I do that to clarify for new forum members who may not be familar with HID's. Although this isn't your question, I found aftermarket HID's in projector headlamps to be more powerful than that on the STI. The STI however showed the advantage in lighting when both the high beams and low beams where on.
