Uhh, I think you should lay off all alcohol, considering you've had a bad track record after consumption.

Stick with water, more healthier, cheaper, and prevents deformed babies from being born

I had my birthday last night at Aqua.
First shot was a Mountain Bearfawker or something (JD,Tequila,Vodka), with no lime and I used two 151's as chasers.

Few hours later, I was puking outside the club in red_soul_d's car while he was puking out the other door!..haha.

that's just dumb.

How do I know?
Been there before.......

Anyway, I like GlenMorangie, but only the 18 y/o vintage. 12 y/o is too harsh to be a sipper. I have some 12 y/o Glenfiddich right now, but it's a bit harsh. Definately better than nothing though.

Glenfiddich is harsh

It's pretty mellow to me... I can sip that very easily....

Now, Gibson 12 years, that's the stuff you want to avoid... it's so gross

It's harsh compared to an 18y/o vintage, or VSOP pr XO Cognac. Definately still drinkable, just not quite as enjoyable as a finer liquor.

Speaking of fine sipping liquor, I have a bottle of Cabo Wabo Reposado Tequila.

It's limited production, and one of the most amazing liquors I've ever tasted. My parents brought it back from the bar in Cabo San Lucas, and they were lucky. The bigger bottles sell out within weeks. The Anejo version sells out within days. Take that Cristal!

It's pretty harsh compared to the more expensive stuff. At just under $40 a bottle, it's pretty good though. I also drink Chivas Regal 12yrs and Glenmorangie.

JD? Ick. That stuff and I go together like me and my Subaru. Doesn't go down well the first time, and it'll trouble you until it completely leaves you. In fact, I think I'm gonna go puke again.

I'm a poor college student, so $40/bottle is like... my pay cheque..

So am I. I just don't polish them off quickly. I tend to keep my better alcohols for those moments of zen late at night.

I haven't really sat down and enjoyed a few shots by myself lately though. It seems like my friends are too willing to get hammered up on the weekend which tends to satiate my need for booze for the next week or so.

Quite frankly, I haven't enjoyed drinking lately either. It seems to much of the college routine of drinking massive quantities of crappy tasting booze and then wake up (hopefully anyways) with a naked girl next to you instead of a pool of vomit and a massive hangover. I would've much rathered to have a few drinks and some good food instead.

I've tried that, maybe it's just me but I found it a bit too sticky and syrupy...

it's very flavourful but it's just... too thick I find.

You know, a friend of mine gave me a bottle of this canadian stuff called Century. It's aged, I think either 12 years, or more. It was actually pretty good. I had it on the rocks. Profile was very smooth, beautiful nose, very apparent butterscotch, slight apricot, and clean finish. For $40 it was a good bargain.

Single malt Highland pls.
Glenfiddich, Dalwhinnie

Though in all honesty, a Chivas special reserve ain't all that bad.

Cardu is not bad for a moderate/low priced scotch.
