Default 05 rex engine prob. no one can figure it out????

i have a 05 wrx sedan with about 13000k on the engine, loss of power all around and around 5500rpm' heavy hesitation occurs, then around 6000rpm' a rattling sound of sorts occurs and if you drive into it it gets louder proceded by a flashing check engine light. the subaru dealership has had my car multiple times now. first they thought it could be a clogged down pipe?? i dont know why they thought this since i have a boost gauge and im still making good boost and it spools just fine, on the day they made this assumption my new hks catless downpipe came and installed. small gain in power but did not fox the problem. my engine is slightly modified but really not at all. aem intake, greddy type s bov, hks ground kit, hks downpipe. any comments would be appreciated.!!!!!

Lose the intake, and bov. Should clear up your problems. You might have a vaccum leak with the BOV, and the AEM intake is known to mess with MAF readings.

Induction leak, most likely....and the ratteling sound isn't good.....you really need to get it figured out before you blow it up...if it 'aint runnin' right STOP flogging it.

what si the computer telling you is going on?
Pull you plugs and have a look what coulour they are.
Cheack all th seals in the induction pipe to make sure its sealed.
Id be surprised if an intake or bov had something to do with a rattle IN the engine. But it wouldnt hurt to return it to stock and put it through its paces to see if the problem is lessened, or there at all. If it is, your car may have a crook ticker.
