Okay i finally got a jdm cluster from 93-96 that will fit my L. And after looking at the jdm cluster i realized that a lot of wiring will have to be done, so i came up with a plan. I am going to just take the JDM gauges and swap them with my L ones. Ok so the jdm things are all on the opposite sides of mine. So i would be putting in a KPH tach, and my water temp and gas gauge would be going on the opposite sides so then gas would read water temp and the water temp would read gas. Its kind of messed up but i am lazy, since i am just doing this for looks anyway. So would there be any problems that occur besides the water and gas gauges reading their opposite readings.ITs kind of confusing, but i hope you get the idea of what i am doing.

That sounds pretty retarded. Wire it up properly.

you're two opposite gauges may have different scales, such as the gas gauge may go way off the chart if its hooked up to the temp sensor signal, and the temp may read barely anything if its hooked up to the gas gauge.

Some of the guages bolt right in w/ no wiring. The conductive bolts contact the foil layouts to make the electrical connection. You'd want to confirm that the bolt arrangement is the same first though. I saw a mechanical speedo cable adapter for converting Km to miles from a vendor in the UK. Forgot where it is.
