Default 4.11 Tranny with Matching Rear LSD Diff

Hi All,

I have a Transmission out of a 2001 Subaru Legacy GT sitting in my garage with the matching LSD. I was going to use this tranny to replace the one in my car but I decided to go another route.

The Tranny has 40K miles on it and is good condition.

For people with a WRX, TS, OBS that need that extra acceleration, now's your chance to pick this up pretty cheap. In addition to this tranny, I also have one with a broken 1st gear (currently in my car but will be taken out this week).

Here's the deal.
5 Speed Tranny
matching rear Diff with LSD
1 Spare parts tranny

$800.00 obo.

Shipping available.

Yup, what I'm getting rid of is my replacement tranny. I'm putting on a 4.44 tranny in my car.. More umph outta the hole.

Yes, the parts tranny is the current one on the car, I'm still using it.

It's not the HP that matters, it's the torque. HP is a calculation based on the following formula: torque X rpm / 5252 = HP

The higher the torque the higher the danger on the tranny. My setup uses a 10:1 compression ratio EJ25 Phase II engine with Autoronic Standalone ECU with VF23 all dyno tuned and setup.

We twisted the "parts" tranny running 18Lbs of boost (accident).

It'll hold quite a bit, my stock tranny setup took 2 years and lots of launches to twist it. 2 years of Autocrosses + Track Days, and I'm still driving it, the only problem is 1st gear and strange noises.

But I located a 4.44 tranny for mystelf that's legal in the class I run in "FSP". So instead of putting in my spare 4.11, i'm selling the good tranny with a good LSD 4.11 setup and replacing the whole thing with 4.44 setup.

Would this work in a '02 WRX without any other modifications?

I got the PM"s and will send the costs to both of you on Monday. If you use this on your WRX, you'll have to use your flywheel, clutch, and clutch fork, throw out bearing. But it'll work just fine, better acceleration.

If the Legacy was never offered with a 4.44:1 ratio you cannot run those gears in FSP. Same thing with the turbo. Not available on a '00 Legacy from the factory in the USA. Sorry to burst your bubble, but you're in SM, where you're free to change all this and more.

Jay Storm

Bump for a good deal.

You're correct in SCCA RulesI'm in SM, but in Canadian rules, I'm in FSP.

Here's the link to our rules: http://www.solo2ontario.com/info/doc...solo2rules.pdf

LSD's are also a free upgrade in our FSP classificiation. No bubbles burst. Thanks for the free bump.

Ok, Twisted Tranny sold.

The remaining good tranny is still for sale with the matching rear diff.

I'll still split shipping and price is now $700.00 USD, shipping anywhere in the lower 48 is $250.00 USD, and I'll split that in half.

Net price shipped to your door is $825.00.
