Question Older Impreza conversion to newer front end?

Okay, I am thinking about selling my 2000 Impreza (payments are killing me) and I would like to get an older one - like a 94-96.

Question is, can I replace the front grille/bumper/spoiler on the older car with one from a 2000 Impreza? Is it a bolt-on job?

Thanks guys!

James

You'll need the bumper, bumper beam, fog lights, grill, headlights, hood, hood scoop, vents, and trunk lid (unless you want to drill).

You could get the hood off a 98(?) or newer L if you don't want the vent/scoop. The grill and headlights can be taken from the same L or OBS.

Sent you a PM too.

i believe sugar offers a "kit" to update a 98 rs to the 2001 front end for $400 or so... this would include the bumper, beam, and fog lights, getting you halfway there. the hood, grille and headlights could probably be had froma junkyard somewhere.
