Hell they look pretty good to me now. I personally, like old photos to look somewhat old. It gives the picture some character. Film and photo paper is still better then all this digital stuff IMO. Digital just makes it easier.

He called me today to see if I had a scanner. I pointed him to Kinko's. They had a "do it yourself". Lets say he didn't take a lot of care scanning them in. You should see some of the before's.

Looking at that one before shot, you've actually done a pretty damm good job 4x4.

I suppose you could clone out more of the fingerprints but it really becomes endless at that point.

I think it would help the gumn photo to lose the fingerprints. In the lady picture you reposted, what's with the yellow blotching?

Edit: I see it was bad fingerprints. If you filter the whole image to B&W, it should minimize what's left of that.

Good idea on the b&W conversion. That might work well for that photo.

I didn't even notice that. I don't think it looks that bad though.

How about this one:

WRx is all over this project. Good work. I started but got sidetracked.

You did lose some detail in the jacket but it still passes for a good cleanup.
