the closest is sylvannia silverstars, but its no where near blue, more or less 4300k. The more white, blue and purplish the color is =less output since theres a layer of paint over the bulb.

Have you tried Silverstars?

Now I must gouge my eyes out with a spoon after reading your post.

If you want people to THINK you have HID, then get the Eurolite blue bulbs for $30. They will burn out, they will give you CRAPPY output even worse than stock.

If you want HID-like output but people don't notice it, go Sylvania Silverstars.

dont waste your money on cheap bulbs, they do not look like HID's and are no where near the output of them, i used cheap knock offs for a year then just bought HID's and id say it was probably the best money i spent, the output is amazing and for saftey it picks things out sooo far away i love them, if you drive alot at nite dig into the bank and buy a set! i used to use nokya bulbs tho.

I'll put in another vote for Sylvania Silverstars. They seem to be quite a bit brighter than stock. If you want even more bright go with the Sylvania Xtravisions. They are a tad more yellow but put out more light to the road.

More like can't see 10 feet in front of you. But they look very HID, almost to the point of being blue.

Silverstars for light output, drive on a highway (or any dark road) at night and you'll see the difference.
