Yes they do carry them. I actually saw them at the Burnaby location today. I think the size on it was 75/35? I don't remember the price on it but I know they had a coupon for them a couple weeks ago. I think if you asked them they might still give you the discount off the price of the battery. They also had the yellow tops there as well.

They have both yellow and red top, there was a sale like a week or 2 ago where you could save like $30. I was at the richmond costco when I last saw them.

I bought the 75/35 Red Top from Costco, but the terminals are too far away to just bolt it up. I think it was the negative cable on the WRX that was too short, but you can replace it to make it work. I gave mine to my brother and just ordered a 35R from the Internet where the terminals are on the opposite side of the battery so everything just plugged right up.

I did the same about 2 months ago. I found that only the starter wire didn't fit. It's about 4" too short. I fixed it with a length of 8awg, and it works well.

I heard a rumor that you can turn it on it's side, and the battery wires up without modification. Is there are truth to that?

I belive you can because it is a sealed Gel cell. Not entirely sure though. They are a great battery I had 4 in my truck and they never let me down. Even when using an inverter while camping.

The starter cable is too short but its only being restricted by electrical tape. Cut the tape and it will be good. That holds true with my gc, not 100% sure about the wrx.

Edit: posted with my brothers sn
