Default Point me to the right place?

Has anyone logged the typical costs for standard STi service procedures?

I.E. Dealer performed brake jobs, clutch replacement, etc.

Thanks!

Default I'm just doing my homework...

Considering that I currently own a BMW, home of the $800 brake repair, I'd kinda like to have an idea of what this stuff will cost before hand.

"$800 brake repair"......well if that scares you, then you need a WRX, not an STi.

Being that I've seen, just locally, hourly rates from as cheap as $35 to as much as $108, I don't know how you can come up with a "standard" cost for each job. On parts, sure, but labor? Meh.

Default Here's how *I* would do it...

I would quote the price of the parts, and the number of hours required to perform the service. Then, anyone who knows their hourly rate, can adjust the cost accordingly.

My local rate is $60 an hour. Just asked when I was at the dealer an hour or so ago.

How about $136.53 each for rotors? (http://www.buybrakes.com/store/735PSL)
and $106.05 per axle for pads (http://www.buybrakes.com/store/HB453-585)

And this is just from 10 minutes of Google.

OK, I think I understand now. I'm comparing apple to oranges, and, in the wrong thread at the same time. What I WOULD like to know is if anyone knows the clutch replacement cost. (As in number of hours of labor on the shop's side).

IIRC clutch work pays 5-6 hours

I work on the parts side of Subaru thus dont know 100% for sure the service
shop rates - but if i do recall, this is about what subaru pays for a clutch swap on a turbo

Call your local dealership and they will be more than happy to give you some pricing.
