Bob Baker Subaru welcomes Travis Pastrana, Professional Motocross Racer

El Cajon, CA- Bob Baker Subaru of El Cajon will host an autograph signing session with the 2005 Rally America National driver Travis Pastrana, Thursday, February 17th from 6-8pm. This is part of the Subaru of America recent participation in the Rally America National Championship.

Travis Pastrana, a professional motocross racer, has made a very impressive name for himself. By the age of 14, he won a series of National Amateur Motocross titles and became the World Freestyle Champion. Now, he has extended his resume to include Supermoto and Rally Car Racing. He made his debut in the Sports Car Club of America(SCCA) ProRally series last year in a Subaru Impreza WRX. This year he will compete in seven Rally America National Championship events once again in the Subaru Impreza WRX which has been prepared and run by Vermont SportsCar and co-supported by Subaru of America, Inc.

Travis is a GREAT guy. We hung out with him at RIM last year.

He is an extremely personable athlete, but dont get me started on how he completely threw away his very lucrative motocross/supercross career by screwing around with x-games/free style crap.
Total and complete waste of talent

i saw his STi in the premiere issue of some new offroad magazine, it was pretty sick. A big turn on pikes peak... his STi painted artic camo. I was impressed that a MX rider would decide to get into professional rally driving.

He kicked his mechanic out of his car, picked up my grandson and stuck him in his car so my daughter could take his pics. Very personable, guy!

he is a great person like everybody said. i had a chance to talk with him at pikes peak for a few hours when he fliped his car

Pastranas suby- the road is just above the car in the backround. it was a second gear corner and he came in probly in 4th or 5th then landed upside down then went bact on the wheels

So nice and 'personable' as some would say, chatting it up with everyone in line.... did I mention he was a cool guy?
