Sold my Subaru, and
now I'm so OT

Default now this is a cost effective track day.

http://www.karelo.com/enter_res.php?&BT=10&BID=67

I'll hopefully be able to get the money together for this. I figured some of you might be interested though.

$262 after tax is MUCH better than the $400+ that have been advertised on here before.

Your tires should hold up fine...your brakes on the other hand
Don't worry, I'm a safe and slow driver....

But seriously, I'll give free brake pads for anybody that lets me use it that day.

The mission trackday (beginner-amatuer performance driving class) last summer was 250.00 pp or so.
Not really much opportunity to pass, the way the cars where broken up, but I still had fun.

Tires wear pretty badly on the track.... especially if you are aggressive and you can wear out a set of pads. You can pretty much eat up a set of tires at a full day at the track, unless they are kumho 712s lol.

I can't afford, nor justify $450, and the additional day just kills it for me.

$250 on the other hand is not only affordable, but a single day allows more than enough time for me to flog the battlewagon, and still have a sunday to spend with my family. Weekends are hard to come by, and if I blow a full one on car stuff, I'll be deemed a selfish husband, and bad father. I'm already climbing an uphill battle here with my 3" exhaust, and expensive and pointless headlight upgrades.

On a side note, I didn't mean to attack you everbruin, and I apologize if it came across that way. I was just shocked to see something that I could actually justify doing, for a price I could stand.

Is ayone going to sign-up?
I think I will.

I did a number on my old T1S tires at the last track day I did. They feathered up nicely, but nothing more than a day of autoX and a hard drive home. Also, my brakes never gave me issues. Ensure that you have some good fluid, and you're completed deviod of any air in the system, and you'll be fine. If it's raining, don't run a CAI. the MRP roadcourse doesn't have the best drainage in some areas. You don't want to be taking a 180 degree sweeper at 95kmh, and have to worry about hydrolock at WOT.

Hey, you'll have better luck asking if any of your friends who own a 05'+ Mercedes cause Mercedes have wear and tear warranty for the first 2 years. So, you won't even have to pay for their brake pads. They will install new brake pads for their MB.

Hmmm... I really should get Jasmine onto the track. With worn 712s along with fresh pads and fluid this might be a good time.
