Hub-centric Rings Necessary?

Hello =)

I'm running 18" x 7.5" Advan RG's.

I have no hubcentric rings sitting behind my wheels. I know that for some cars and wheels -- not having them causes extra stress on the studs, and possibly not as centered tires/wheels.

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

My understanding (although I could be wrong) is that cars that utilize tappered lug nuts do not need the rings as the lugs will center the wheel on the hub.

you are ...... a cars weight is designed to be resting on the center hub .... that's why it is there ......

do your wheels fit snuggly onto the center hubs ?

They fit snug w/o horizontal play when i hand screw the lugs back on -- when the car is jacked up.

No harm in ordering some i guess... But im worried about fitment, because im not using stock wheels.

Any suggestions? I heard they were cheap anyway.

I ordered them for my wheels but they did not fit. I have the ATS comp lites with Falken Azenis 225/45/17.
