Default Interested in starting a Taxi service?

Hey my friend and I are thinking about starting a WRX taxi service in Nor Cal. The name is still being thought up but it sounds like a cool idea. Im willing to bet people would much rather ride in our WRX's than in that craped out chevy.

If anybody is interested PM me.

Benny

that craped out chevy has a lot more leg and head room than a wrx.

Guys, i dont think there will be very many people around town that want us to help them move. Im talking about people that need to get to the grocery store or a ride from the bars, stuff like that. Not unloading from an airport.

I'm not sure this will fly. When I get into a cab, I really don't give a rats ass if it is a camaro, WRX or minivan - I care that the driver knows his way around and that he picks me up when I want him to.

I certainly wouldn't pay extra for a WRX, nor wait longer for one.

I think for it to work you'd have to develop a reputation, like bike messengers. So people would know that wrx taxi's get you there bloody fast.

Maybe a Legacy taxi instead? They're actually semi-common here in Alaska. Of course, yours could be turbo'd

i'd rather sit in a crown victoria then a WRX, the back seats in a WRX suck.

You'd appeal to like 16 y/o's and thats about it, and chances are the 16's don't need a ride home from the bar or a ride to the grocery store...

Who would want to ride in a WRX when it has such crappy rear leg room? And who would ride a taxi because it is a fast car? That isn't necessarily going to get you through traffic quicker. Good luck with that

Get a Forester XT. Then you might have some business. People in the back seat can check out the skyline from the MASSIVE moonroof, you've got space to throw luggage, and can carry 3 or 4 passengers!!
