Question Need Help with motor build!!

I am building a turbo engine for my 98RS. I just want a great reliable turbo motor the can take the abuse. I have a complete 1991 2.2 legacy motor. I will be using the block along with slightly worked 98RS heads and intake. What should be used inside the motor as far as rods and pistons (looking to run up to 10Lbs). Also, What head gasket do I use and will the 98RS clutch and trans fit to the 2.2.

Default ???!!??

you want to build up a motor and run only 10 psi ? is that legacy block a turbo or NA block ? i'd call b-specusa.com or cobbtuning.com and ask them for the availability of rods and pistons. there has been several people who've done the legacy turbo block/RS heads hybrid , which i'm also considering. do a search if you havn't done alreay and see what turns out.
later..........

Default Don't bother unless it is a turbo block

Cunningham,

I would try these companies for engine internals. Cobb tunning, JE Pistons, Cosworth,Gram Goode, Jun,Crower, MRT. The intake can be extrude honed. Also try a bigger throttle body. Try giving Adam Bloom a call at Z1 PErformance. 631-254-8277 or email him at zxt@webtv.com or z1auto@aol.com

i hope this helps,
Greg
