Default WRX cross member = GD arms aswell?

Hey Guys,
On a common EJ20 swap into the old styles, I notice you have to use the front cross member in order to get the turbo piping in the 'stock' location. My question being, since you have to run a WRX cross member, can you also run WRX front control arms (will the fit the knuckles)? Wider? Skinnier?

You can run the wagon control arms which give you a narrower track. Option 2 is just to shim the old control arms, since the mounting bracket is wider.

I knew the mounting wider, I was just hoping that the mount would be farther in aswell. Thanks for the help you two.

Nope, Sedan and Wagon cross-members are the same...same down to the part number.
