Talking blue HVAC and red cluster [Doable!]

I finally managed to put these lights together...

The lights I bought for the HVAC are far too big so I had to trim the butts and swap them from the front (took the hvac face out)

the Red cluster is not perfect yet. I have some more LEDs on the way

I took the gauges out... I want the interior to be blue

I tried another Leds... turn out to be good white!

The HVAC looks way to bright, somewhat blinding from the pics. I love the red cluster though.

actually my camera exagerated the brightness

the hvac was nice, but the cluster is a bit dimmed... but I'm waiting for some more leds on the way... hopefully those ones will do it

How did you take out the clusters? I'm afraid to take mine out because I'm afraid I might break something

2 screws to release the frame
3 screws for the clusters...

taking the bulbs out was easy... just twist the sockets

Looks pretty, but you do realize that blue is the colour that impairs your night vision the most...

Shouldn't it be green? Humans show the the lowest threshold to detecting green lights in total darkness...

edit to add: of course, I flunked the section on light perception this semester, so....

I think it has to do with the fact'the blue light distracts your vision at nite. That's why people dislike those fake-blue HID's since when you look at the headlight and try to notice other things on the road, you can't really see them.

That's my opinion of it though...

LaterZ!

Here is the pic.
120km/h that part is not bright enough, so only good for white. I tried red before, in bad result
ignore "FUEL DOOR" too
