Only one person (Gary Sheehan) had a time from Willow Springs...? I had a timer in car today that only worked in the second session...1.42 w/ Hankook Z211 was my best time but I think I went faster in 3rd session after I let more air out, they were 44F/40R psi, no wonder I thought the car was sliding around a bit!

You mean Streets of Willow, not Willow Springs. I saw your post and thought Cool! I didn't know they ever ran big Willow backwards! and then checked out the video and saw it was the Streets.

Nice video, but someone needs to get an in-car setup so we don't have to listen to all that wind buffetting!

Bridge to Gantry. It's how you measure lap times on a tourist drive day at the Ring. In the video it's the bridge right at the start and the "gantry" right at the end (with the Audi sign on it.) It is about 18km. Not to be confused with a complete lap of the Nordschleife, which you can only do in races or private track days.

Respectable time: TTD for a well prepped STI was 1:26, everyone else was right around high 1:20's or low 1:30's.

Car has more in it, especially now that I fixed the boost leak it had, and the brake fade issues. With a bit more tire under the car I think I could knock off 2-3 seconds.

Going back next month with wider wheels and tires.

Went back with the wider tires but they ran the track CCW and it was my 1st time doing CCW so the fastest recorded lap I got was 1:26.53

Comments: I was getting about 4 good laps before the tires got greasy-hot. The track itself was slick, due to the lack on rainfall over the past month, but that just made it more fun = sideways action. Is 120C too hot for oil temp? Very fun track!

Also the chicane has changed apparently at PIR and is much more aggressive now. From what I understand the track is much slower than it used to be because of this.
