Question SG9 --> roof racks or no roof racks?

WITH roof racks

and now

withOUT roof racks

we havent used the roof racks at all, thought i might as well take them off and see what it looks like. i kind of like it.
what do you think? does it look "better" with or without the roof racks?

sorry about the poor quality photos
regards,
-C.D.

youre pictures persuade me... in the snow.. roof racks... out in the sun... no roof racks... it's all about the snow... now put some snowboards on top of your car (or if you ski then those) and go hit up the snow again!

Without roof rack for now, and as you make it faster and add a fmic etc. put it back on to maintain the sleeper effect.

Without, I used to get better gas mileage and less lift at high speed with mine, plus I had a sunroof so those things were soooooooper loud on the highway.

They're easy to put on, so if you need um for Kayaks or bike, slap um on, otherwise do yourself a favor and save some money on gas, take em off.

Roofracks are for people who are too dumb to get a wagon.

You should only do the roof rack thing if your vehicle looks like it is an off-roader. Like the Jeep Liberty Renegade looks cool with them. Regular Liberty? No. Every SUV owner on the planet it rockin roof racks. So if you have them, you won't stand out or anything. This vehicle I guess could go either way. Get them only if you're going to use them. Otherwise, they will just eat up your milage an no one is going to stop you and say, "Dude, awesome roof rack!"

BTW, those are the first shots of a Forester that I have ever seen that I liked. Great job.

My roof racks made it through the first winter I had my FXT. They've been sitting on a shelf since.

Although it is fun to auto-x with roof racks.
