If I get my oil changes elsewhere other then the dealer, would it void my warranty?

no, just keep your receipts and check your oil level once in a while.

AT LEAST THE DEALERS KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. A buddy went to a Quick lube
they drained his front diff thinking it was the oil pan and toasted his trans.

Unless they can prove that improper oil change procedure was the cause of problems, they can't void your warranty. Really though, there is no such thing as voiding a full warranty. They can only deny claims against a warranty. You can thank SEMA for that.

Just go to a trustworthy garage to do oil change for you, cuz you never know if the dealers will put in synthetic for you or just regular oil...
Witnessing the process is better..!

Better make sure they use a new oil drain plug washer or u may get a leak. The crush washer is only good once.
