From what I could see on the Japanese website, the spring rates are 8KF/6KR? Can we order them with whatever rates we want? These are only rebuildable in Japan? They look like nice quality.

Thanks

Yes, we can special order different rates.

calworld - These are very good coilovers for the price you pay. Do I think the Cusco Zero2R is $800 better in terms of performance? I'd say no.

Thanks

Yes, they are rebuildable. There is already 1 guy who put a deposit and 2 more are very close as well. If we get at least 3 people who put deposits down, I'll buy a set myself to give you guys the lower pricing
Thanks

Don
Don - KG/MM are valved differently and are built in the same factory as KYB. There are imitators and yes, you would need to ship them to Japan to get rebuilt just like Cusco coilovers.
Thanks

The Shocks are adjusted on the bottom. The Height is adjusted on the top or bottom.
Thanks

are you positive that the rebound/damping is on top? that's a main reason I don't want some coilovers because I have to remove my rear seats to make adjustments.
I found 2 different pictures on the website...can you confirm if we have top or bottom for sure? This may be my reason to ***** or get off the pot

It looks like macpherson style adjust on the bottom but that kit for the legacy looks like it has adjusters on both ends???

unless of course I think enough and answer my own question...the thing I see on the bottom is the nut because they are inverted right?

Sorry, you're correct. The adjustment is on the bottom since they are inverted
Thanks

Hey everyone, I am the guy that has his deposit in already, and I decided to help Gruppe-s with some of the questions about the coilovers. On GD body style Impreza's, the front and rear suspensions use macphearson(sp?) struts, which attach to the hub using two bolts and a bracket. On legacy's and some other subies, they have a macphearson in the front, like WRX's, and a spherical mount for the rear (the Ball shaped bottom mount seen abaove). Due to the placement of the spherical bushings, it is impossible to have the adjusters on the bottom. The DNA that is made for spherical mount colovers has an inverted strut in the front, that is adjusted from the bottom, and non-inverted rears, that adjust on the top. The Impreza adjusts all of them from the bottom, being that all of its sturts are macphearson style. (whew, overly long and complicated answer)
Now, as a general rule, inverted strut, adjustable coilovers have the adjusters on the bottom, with very few exceptions. So, in conclusion, the WRX coilovers for sale here adjust from the bottom.
