Hey everyone, I am the guy that has his deposit in already, and I decided to help Gruppe-s with some of the questions about the coilovers. On GD body style Impreza's, the front and rear suspensions use macphearson(sp?) struts, which attach to the hub using two bolts and a bracket. On legacy's and some other subies, they have a macphearson in the front, like WRX's, and a spherical mount for the rear (the Ball shaped bottom mount seen abaove). Due to the placement of the spherical bushings, it is impossible to have the adjusters on the bottom. The DNA that is made for spherical mount colovers has an inverted strut in the front, that is adjusted from the bottom, and non-inverted rears, that adjust on the top. The Impreza adjusts all of them from the bottom, being that all of its sturts are macphearson style. (whew, overly long and complicated answer)
Now, as a general rule, inverted strut, adjustable coilovers have the adjusters on the bottom, with very few exceptions. So, in conclusion, the WRX coilovers for sale here adjust from the bottom.
