Most people don't know what turbop is what...
You could easily sneak a PE1818 or PE1820 in there...they are IHI based turbos, so you will see the "IHI" cast into the housing if anyone looks... |

VF22 or 34 would be what you're looking for if you want the stock turbo look. but then again, go with something bigger and slap the heat shield on and no one will ever know what you're running.

Anything that fits stock location will fool 99% of the ricers... I mean racers you would bump into for a street race. If you are actually taking it to the track then you shouldn't care to share the info anyway.

keep the turbo heatsheild on, and dont drive like a tool until you are racing....nobody will know what you have.

Sorry to bust your bubble buddy, but a Subaru mechanic will see you have an aftermarket turbo on in .00034 seconds. In order to go aftermarket turbo you will need new injectors, new turbo, fuel pump, and engine management. None of which are particularly stealthy except to maybe our wives. I can tell a modded Subaru just by the way it sounds, so I'm 1000% sure a real mechanic can.

It sounds like you need ECUTEK dyno tune instead of TURBO upgrade. Don't waste your money on VF22 or 34. They are not worth the trouble of swapping the turbo. (minimum gain per $ spend).
