Default How to reset transmission control module?

Can anyone tell me if a 1999 Subaru Outback has a transmission control module? if it has how do you reset it?
I read how to reset the Subaru ECM by disconnecting the battery for 30mins,
but I could not find out if there was a TCM for the automatic transmission or how to reset it.

disconnecting the battery for a few minutes should reset any ECU sensors and related components, I could be wrong though, it's happened before...
